Glenn Beck was given a unique opportunity on Monday while visiting Israel: he delivered a rousing speech before the Jewish version of congress, called the Knesset.
“Where you go, I shall go, Your people is my people, your God is my God,” Beck said, quoting the book of Ruth while addressing the Knesset Immigration, Absorption and Diaspora Affairs Committee.
“As a man who also worships the one God, in the times that we live in, it is clear that what is going on is God’s work. If we are silent, evil will win. But if we stand up and take charge, God will do the rest,” he added, according to the Jerusalem Post.
He also encouraged members to reach out to those of other faiths:
“If you go to a synagogue, reach out to a church. If you go to a church, reach out to a JCC. Say, will you watch this with me? After that we’ll talk and eat and get to know one another.”

I would tend to agree. However, the United States could never have been founded without Christians and Christianity, so we should thank God for their influence.

I’m sure Beck is sincere - but he is wrong. The Mormon conception of God is a different being from the God described by the Bible.
Beck is not a Christian.
He is a Mormon.

Jesus Christ was God in the form of man.

Help me be clear on what you said here.Are you saying Christ Jesus is not God?
Beck is connecting with them very well, and I’m very happy to see that. Wish I could be with him there in August.
As far as the “My God is your God”, it’s sad to see Bigots leaving all sorts of inflammatory comments on the Blaze about his Mormonism, and I’m sure as I am typing this, others are posting some of those on this thread.
You heard it said hate the sin not the sinner. Can reasonable Christians not do the same about people caught up in Mormonism? Mormons I know are good people and make great neighbors, and thank God they vote the Right way. We can have more effective evangelism by reaching out to those needing to hear the true Gospel rather than slapping them down.
Becks visit to Israel is Not an LDS mission trip. He is simply acting as an Ambassador for Americans who support Israel. With that, God Speed Glenn Beck.
Israel isn’t Christian either, they are mostly agnostic.
I lived there for 3 months and I can tell you Israeli politics are far more complicated than in the USA.
Remember it was “Christians” who sent Jews to the gas chambers. Trust me, Israel hasn’t forgotten.
The TRUE and LIVING God of Israel is NOT the “god” of Mormonism. As much as I respect Glenn’s stand for Israel. Mr. Beck is WRONG and he is spiritually deceived by the CULT of Mormonism.

Mr. Beck, as much as I admire him, couldn’t be further from the truth: There is no God in Mormonism . . . only pseudogods by the hundreds of thousands . . . Either Beck has bought into the fallacy of Mormonism, or Beck is lying . . . I hope it’s the former.

I Prefer not to “limit” the Good Lord as to his methods. In the Old Testament G*D used a Jackass(there maybe hope for EVEN you) and a Harlot to accomplish his good work. SO I EVEN think that he can use a mormon.
Beck is converting to Judaism? That is what that verse in Ruth means.
Since he is not converting, that is a highly offensive statement that Beck made.
