This site is an abomination.

But then the left have a history of Islamifying 911 Memorials. The 'Crescent of Embrace' points towards Mecca.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and compare this to another memorial that was pretty unpopular when it was first conceived and presented - The Vietnam Wall Memorial.
When this was first announced as the winner of the contest there were a LOT of very vocal opposition.
Designed by a woman
She was an Asian
It was 'unconventional'
It was not a 'formal' memorial
etc., etc.

I was one of those who voiced opposition because it was "different" and I could not imagine it as a fitting memorial.
My first visit was a very conflicted emotional experience. I just sat and looked at it for about an hour or so before I walked the wall. Then I started putting the search system to use and began to...'get it.'
Two more visits and I finally "got it." Yeah, its different...Yeah, it takes some personal inter-action to make it work...But now...I think its a very powerful and fitting tribute.

So...on that level...I'm going to hod criticism until this memorial sinks in a bit.
Maybe it will 'work'...maybe not. We'll see.

I will say that from the pic you posted...that looks like a rainwater runoff drain in Los Angeles or Phoenix.

So don’t think I’m on board with this just yet.
