Let's keep praying for America, and for Sarah.

Because the prayers are *working*.

Witness this photo: it was designed to make her look uglier, more masculine: but all it did was add an air of confident gravitas which undercuts their whole meme of "Caribou Barbie."

Almost brings to mind Isaiah 54:17. Don't know for sure if that's what's happening, but sometimes it does look like it!

Cheers!

My personal feeling is that Newsweek got the exclusive and Palin got to pick the cover.

I think your feeling on “gravitas” is right and I think Palin knew it when she picked it.

IMO

Wonderful post, grey!

"I have also created the ravager to destroy; no weapon that is fashioned against you shall propser, and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, says the LORD."

"Confute" -- new word for me. It means "to prove conclusively that somebody is wrong or that something is false, invalid, or faulty."

I pray for Palin, and even more, I pray that Americans embrace a restoration of priority committment to, and respect for, Judeo-Christian values, the ones that ALONE created Western Civilization and ultimately, the best nation in the world.
