$15 in pac money per member is still $48 million. But from his $900 per year in union dues and your $1200... if those are typical the NEA pulls in close to $3 billion and creates absolutely NOTHING.

It sets us right off too. Twenty years back, I hounded the wife about quitting the NEA. I remember her telling me, You like me teaching or do you want me to be a stay at home mum? We talked to a former teacher who had been fired after she left the NEA. The teacher made it abundantly clear it was SOP and if my wife dropped out of the NEA; she would face the same retribution. Honestly, that cooled my quit the NEA ideas and for as bad as those buggers are; glad it did. We have two kids in school, $3500/month. No aid, but also no loans. Wifey’s teaching pay check pays for our kid’s education. Some things you just have to live with, no matter how foul & awful it seems.
