The reason you aren't hearing from the MSM on this story is very simple ~ THEY ARE INVOLVED IN THE CRIMES.

They have people on their staffs who were directed to participate with ATF, DEA, FBI and DOJ personnel to prepare propaganda ~ and they knew the whole business depended on a US government financed transfer of firearms from border dealers to narcotrafficantes in Mexico.

The Mexican government is preparing to get involved, and if all they can do is demand that we send the officials and other perps to Mexico for investigation and trial, the courts dealing with Mexican extradition requests will be in a position to FORCE FULL INVESTIGATIONS of the whole sordid tale.

(NOTE: Whether or not Obama's successor wants to send him and his henchmen down to Mexico for trail is, of course, a whole 'nuther question).

There may be something to what you say. I have heard that this was simply a propaganda ploy to make the US gun situation look out of control. To make something like that work, the administration would need a couple media lapdogs on board to push the “news” that US guns are fueling the violence in Mexico.

Obama and Holder could then move on to Operation Gun Grab perhaps after a Gleiwitz type incident. However something went wrong and it appears the house of cards is coming down on the lies.

Mr. Melson spilled the beans today and pulled in the FBI, DEA into the scandal.

Inter-agencies heads I'm sure will be more than willing to give up documents tossing the ATF and DOJ under the bus before their heads roll.

Field offices for all government alphabet agencies have contacts in the press that need access to the inside. I wonder how loud the press will squeal when subpoenaed
