I am pinging the entire Casey live thread email list to read this one important email I am going to direct you to. You will be astounded.

Go to post #2650, hit the link and then scroll to the August 10, 2008 email from Cindy's brother Rick to her. He sets up and feeds her the entire defense scenario Baez actually used!

This needs to get out there - talk radio, whatever - to expose this farce. There will be a LOT of people who should have known better with egg on their faces.

But we will still have a dead baby, no killer behind bars, and no justice.

I went ahead and hosted it... It creeps me out, but it is worth looking at for sure:

Those emails from Cindy's brother Rick are eye popping!

He had Casey pegged straight away and thought Cindy was living in a fantasy world for believing Casey.

I have to agree that Cindy seems whacked. She defends Casey and lies for her in the light of fact. Bizarro to the max!

FASCINATING letters between the family- Rick gave a very plausible scenario given what they knew at the time- but that was before duct tape and skeletal remains. He seemed to be the only sane member of the family back then- it’s a loony bin.

I agree with most on this thread. The acquittal was an abomination. It seems that common sense and logic were ellusive concepts to these jurors. Did not one of them look at the big picture?......connect the dots?

I have a question. If, as the defense offered, that poor baby died of an accidental drowning, why was her body staged to look like a homicide? Even a cover-up doesn’t make sense for that.

Jury selection in this case was a crucial factor. I am nearly 70 years old and have been summoned about eight times for jury duty......not once selected. A very dear friend is an attorney. I asked him about this. He said that Christian, conservative, well-educated, white women were usually the first to be exempted. I found his response terribly sad.

Many thanks to you and others for these threads. You have done a fantastic job.

Read the email from brother Rick. Wow! He gave it to them on a silver platter.

This has probably been talked about (since I got here so late) but I asure don't remember any neighbor saying they heard noise in the pool on the 16th. Has anyone else on the thread heard that reported or brought up at trial?

Read the emails, truthkeeper. It seems the brother had a little common sense as to what was going on in that family. Cindy must turn on a dime. How long was it before she decided to start covering for her daughter....a few hours?....and yet she seems to be disconnected from the reality of what she's doing.

She knew something was wrong when she smelled the car (it wasn't just the trunk). So she dials 911, turns her daughter in trying to gain control of the situation, trying to get her daughter to fess up to what has happened. Casey goes to jail for something (not sure what). I don't believe it was until the next day (probably waiting on warrants to be filed by LE) that LE actually picked up the car. In between, Cindy decides to clean the car (so she says) and wash the things in the car that smelled like decomp. to include the slacks that George said she was wearing the last day he saw Caylee.

So, she has her daughter in jail, calls 911, but before the car can be impounded, she destroys evidence.

In these emails, she has seemed to turned a corner believing her daughter's stories (or some part of them) that there are answers to be found from others about Caylees whereabouts.

It's as if she's playing it both ways. My daughter may know where my dead granddaughter is, but my daughter may know where my alive granddaughter is. Go figure.

I wonder if Cindy (or George, for that matter) think about what they may have unleashed by helping her get out of these charges. If another family is affected by Casey's "misfortunes", will they ever feel any remorse, have any understanding of what they may be exposing society to? I hope they never find out.
