My personal opinion (FWIW) is that whatever had been simmering in that family exploded on or about the 15th and that went to motive (as opposed to Casey living the party life). The more I read, the more I am convinced something happened between Casey and Cindy which sealed Caylee's fate.

Cindy knew that as well. "Jealousy has taken her away. Jealousy from the one person that should be thankful for all of the love and support given to her. Cindy might not have known Caylee was dead, but she did know why Caylee was gone. God only knows what happened and what was said that evening. I am beginning to think Casey snapped and it was a rage killing.

I read a quote from Cindy's ex-sister-in-law which stated [paraphrased] as far as Cindy and Casey were concerned, the apple did not fall far from the tree. I believe it.

Did you read the August 10, 2008 email from Cindy's brother Rick? He presented almost the EXACT DEFENSE Baez presented as a plausible "accidental" drowning death and told his sister to follow his exact scenario.

Read between the lines of that email, he is giving Casey her way out...and they took it and ran with it!

I agree with you about this- Jeff Ashton just now in an interview alluded to the same- he said it would have been too much hearsay because no one would own up to the fight.

There’s a lot we don’t now- but guess what- Zanny The Nanny has filed her suit against Casey for July 19th- Casey will be DEPOSED and have to ANSWER QUESTIONS about Caylee etc.

I've always felt that Cindy was a narcissist, and this from her brother suggests that this type of pathology was established in her family. This brother appears to also have big problems.

Thanks for posting the link! I had forgotten about Rick posting on the Topix board, but I remember reading them at the time. He was talking about what crazy people both sides of the family are. I didn’t realize that George was such a deadbeat.

Even after the kidnapping story came out of Casey on 7/16/08, Cindy still insisted to her brother that they couldn’t reveal everything they knew... After reading this, I’m sure they know exactly what happened. SICK SICK SICK
