What an idiot. Hopefully the folks in hartley county will remember that fool.
Un friggin believable
george, have a great weekend buddy!
wrong, again
It’s the Weiner syndrome; do a major league screw-up and first instinct is to cover it up and then lie about it -TO PROTECT THEMSELVES- typical of most politicians and ALL demonrat politicians. Hope she gets what should be coming to her.
Tragic for her victims.
We have been well conditioned
Wikipedia says she's an American Indian, and a democrat. I don't who to believe anymore.
What's wrong with that? It's exactly how the state controlled "media" works...and by the way, predictably, she's a RAT.
It's the first thing I looked for.
Well, you sure as hell can’t believe her.
She could run for the senate in Massachusetts.
First thing - no party mention.
A Democrat, of course.
Actually what is sick is Williams picking up her injured 3yo grandson off the concrete with a willful disregard for his safety, and placing him in his car seat so she could lie about him being secured in the vehicle in an attempt to save her job.
vaudine
Happy 4th weekend
:(
Not tragic to Williams; she is just frustrated by the inconvenience of it all. Typical CO liberal voter. Something much less than this ruined the career of a NC Republican years ago, a Rep. Funderburk.
According to DPS records:
Williams "reportedly had only four to six hours of sleep before making the return trip" to Aurora, Colo., from a family visit in McKinney, a Dallas suburb.
She said she "only napped" while watching movies with her grandchildren in the back seat en route to Amarillo before she took over the wheel from her son.
Williams listened to her son read a book to her grandchildren and "may have been distracted and not paying attention to her driving," investigators said.
The Gomezes, meanwhile, were returning home from a Christmas visit with their families in Dalhart.
When Eric Gomez saw Williams' Honda CR-V, he swerved his GMC Yukon toward the opposite lane on U.S. Highway 385 south of Channing, but couldn't avoid the oncoming SUV.
A guardrail prevented him from driving off the road.
Williams should have been aware of the "high risk of injury" by not having passengers in her vehicle properly secured by child safety seats or seat belts, the reconstruction team said. Williams, a staunch seat belt advocate, was wearing her belt.
After receiving the DPS findings, 69th District Attorney David Green opted to have the grand jury determine whether to issue an indictment. Prosecutors have two other options - either file charges or reject the case.
"The grand jury, after careful consideration of the facts and after applying the law to those facts, has decided that no indictment should be returned," Green said following the ruling.
The facts did not add up to criminal negligence, Green said. In negligence cases, he said, factors include speeding, racing, failure to use brakes, ignoring construction zones or ignoring traffic signs. None of those were factors in this case, he said.
"It is the totality of all these facts, when they are looked at upon appeal," Green said after the decision. "There's definitely civil responsibility here."
I remember specifically that this fact was in the papers initial reports. She picked up the kid an put it in the car seat. Now where the car seat was at that point left doubt in the grand jurors mind I am told.
Btw that young lady killed was my bosses cousins wife....
She was a very very big part of her community , family etc due her professional work with children.
Aaabest.... Not sure this rat liar has escaped the judgement .....
Hope ya’ll are well....stay safe !
It is not sick to mention politics on a political discussion website.
What is unspeakably sick is to retrieve a broken child from a ditch or highway and stick the child into a restraint seat in order to cover your own disgusting hypocritical political @$$.
Not to mention the additional injury she might have caused to the child while lugging him about the accident scene.
