Remember the ‘luxury sales tax’ on yachts and the like. Pushed real hard by toadie Ted Kennedy and his Buds to stick it to the “rich”. Problem is the rich bought overseas or not at all and the US yacht builders, those blue collar guys, suddenly found themselves without a job. Fat Teddy and his lib cohorts had to slink back to congress and repeal their stupid law. Moral: Be careful who you ‘stick’ as it may come back to bite you.
