Representative Michele Bachmann of Minnesota has made a deal to publish her memoir, selling a book to Sentinel, a conservative imprint at Penguin Group USA, two people familiar with the negotiations said on Thursday.
Ms. Bachmann, a Tea Party favorite who announced her presidential candidacy during the Republican debate on Monday, has been shopping her memoir for weeks, meeting with several New York publishers to discuss a possible deal.
The book is tentatively expected to be released this fall. John Fund, a columnist for the Wall Street Journal, will assist with the writing of the book.

Hope they can mention the 23 foster children, and why MB has not apologized to Gov Palin
So, she really DID NOT get her law degree from ORU and specialize in Federal tax law in post-doctoral studies at the College of William & Mary in VA?
She really DID NOT manage the dairy farm and she DID NOT start and run a business which was a charter school which employed 30 people?
She really DID NOT stay married to her husband for 33 years, have and raise 5 children and bring 23 foster kids into her home?
So, she really DID NOT serve in the Minnesota legislature, and she DID NOT serve in the US House of Representatives where she DID NOT found the House Tea Party Caucus?
She DID NOT become active in and a driving force of the Tea Party Movement?
She DID NOT make repealing Obamacare her top priority, including defunding it including the funding that was secretly built into the bill, in concert with Steve King of Iowa, the latter to the chagrin of House GOP leadership who claimed the latter would violate House rules and refused to try it?
So, she DID vote for TARP and all the Bailouts etc when the financial system went into the dumpster?... (She voted against them all but I’m humoring the Bachmann bashers.)
Is that what you mean when you call her book “fiction”?
