Glenn Becks last show: Weve learned a lot together

We certainly have learned a lot. He and his research team have offered us a wealth of information. But, he’s not done yet. He just untied his hands, he’s free to do even more. It’s not goodbye, but ‘meet ya at a new spot.’
Thanks for all you did for America.
He plans on continuing with his work, even bigger and better if things work out. It sounds like everyone here (not you necessarily) hasn't checked his GBTV website and noticed that beginning September 12, he'll have a two hour per day TV show over the net:
I've never joined any of his pay offerings, but will probably join for a time after he starts his two hour daily TV show on September 12, just to see if its worth watching often. We'll see how well it catches on.
That’s a pitiful line-up. Like we don’t get enough of this on Fox programming already. < sigh >
At least I won’t have to high-tail it home from work to get in front of the TV. I can run a couple of errands before going home. :(
Plan to as well.
My wife believes it was that sweet tea from Sonic’s that aggravated her insulin resistance syndrome. (Peach flavor every day...) However; she LOVED Devil Dogs when she was younger, so perhaps THEY were the culprit.
That’s why I haven’t heard of them. No more young kids around. :-( And I try to stay away from that kind of thing.
I hope so!
Please keep me on the pinglist. TV has just become that much more of a desert.
My household was too poor to afford such luxuries when I was growing up. To get a store bought ‘jelly roll’ was an astonishing treat. I had a business in fifth -seventh grade (1956-58) making oatmeal raisin cookies and selling them at the local grocery. Used my grandmother’s kitchen and her recipe. The last week I baked before moving to Arlington, VA to finish the eight grade, I made twenty three dozen to fill orders placed at the grocer’s. I made a profit of thirty eight cents per dozen, if I made more than eight dozen at a time. I ate one cookie per batch, to make sure of quality. I thought I had a luxury dessert when I made those cookies. They were approximately the size of a woman’s palm (~3 inches in diameter).
Exactly!
I LOVE how you think!
Nice pic, BTW.
“I wonder will Fox do any reruns of his program, or are there archives where a person can access them online?”
A Stossel special “What’s Great About America” will be on tomorrow. Next week (and maybe beyond?) Fox News will show “encores” (reruns) of Glenn, until they announce a replacement for his time slot.
If you go to watchglennbeck.com (or google Daily Beck) you can view all old shows in the monthly archives. On the main page, there are usually the current week’s shows; beyond that go to the archives. It’s a cool site with other clips and interesting things.
When someone said Glenn’s getting a place in Texas, was that on the radio show? If so, that’s probably where that second studio he talked about will be, the one with a full sound stage.
Anybody know?
I like Gutfeld, Bolling, and (sometimes) Napolitano.
Maybe, for now at least, a roundtable will be better than being stuck with only one of them all the time. Right now, it’s hard to imagine any one person who could fill Glenn’s shoes.
I just went to the website - bet those WOULD be great frozen!
But something on there cracked me up - Reduced Fat Devil Dogs? Where’s the fun in that? LOL
Wouldn’t that be kinda like ordering a Big Mac, large fries and...a diet Coke? :-)
“I can order funny bones and devil dogs and yankee doodles through FedEx delivery? ..”
Okay, must be a regional thing that I don’t know what funny bones and yankee doodles are. What are those, pray tell?
