FBI agents armed with federal search warrants swarmed the homes and offices of Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price, his top assistant and a political consultant Monday.
Agents were seen coming and going and searching vehicles at the county administration offices in the Texas Schoolbook Depository, at Price’s home in Oak Cliff and several other locations.
Price’s attorney, Billy Ravkind, released copies of search warrants issued for the commissioner’s person and two vehicles — but not copies of other warrants for his home and office.
The warrants said agents sought all electronic data from 2001 to the present related to alleged violations of federal charges ranging from bribery and tax evasion to money laundering and structuring of transactions to evade reporting requirements.
Speaking at his attorney’s office, Price said he did not know what the investigation is about.

The guy who owned the company told us Ol’ John Wiley Price (aptly named) came to him and told him he’d like a discount
because he was a county commissioner and could create problems for him if he didn’t get a discount.
The guy told him to pound sand.
My friend bought his smoker... will probably get cancer from eating smoked meats, but a great guy.
Since 1992 Price has been charged with the following offenses the majority of which have been dismissed;[7] aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, assault, criminal mischief, criminal trespassing, terroristic threat, aggravated assault-serious bodily injury, and sexual assault (which was dismissed by the Judge).[8] On June 27, 2011; FBI agents searched Price’s offices.

I am a Native Texan living in the Ozarks of Missouri and lived in Dallas area for many years. JWP’s antics were a common occurences and my comment is “it’s about time!”

I remember many years ago I read an article, D Magazine as I recall, about this guy. It said he has a collage of photos at home of all the dead black activist/anarchists with a photo of his big dumb face stuck right in the middle.
