There are many brainwashed useful idiots out there thanks to our government run education indoctrination system, these are arguments that those who elected the marxist often use when it comes to promoting homosexual sex as equal to heterosexual sex.
Here are my thoughts as to the arguments you encountered...
How does homosexual sex contribute to promoting the marriage institution that society values and has historically always valued? Suggesting that marriage is no longer sacred because of divorce rates so why not let homosexual sex be included as a premise for marriage would be like suggesting that high murder rates imply laws against murder are worthless and murders should be allowed in some cases.
Equating the legitimate discrimination of homosexual sex with slavery or voting rights is absurd unless those who choose to engage in homosexual sex are slaves or do not get to vote simply because they choose to engage in disordered sexual activity. Further, society does not value certain activities and as well legitimately discriminates against such activities for instance in who can donate blood.
Why should something that society has decided and science has proven is self destructive be accorded recognition, privilege, and reward?
The leftists claim it takes a village; however, in the case of homosexual marriage the facts are it would be a dead village after one generation. Promoting homosexual marriage is promoting death plain and simple.
