I’m finished with political affiliations. I’m finished with popular culture. I’m finished with the idea that this country stands for anything anymore. The ideals represented on Mt. Rushmore are dead and buried. We are a sick, decrepit, dwindling nation of perverts, crowd-followers, egotists, opportunists, economic thieves, and cowards.
We can’t even say the name “God” in a public Pledge of Allegiance.
We are distorted like a cracked mirror. We are the serpent in the garden, plucking up children, destroying the unwanted and weak, worshiping our idols, waiting for handouts. We are lazy, uneducated, ignorant of history, dazzled by shiny objects, atheistic, amoral, relativist trash.
God will punish us by simply allowing the rotten fruit of our heinous, power-drunk civic leaders, celebrities, media, and Christian-hating corporations destroy us from within.
And in the end, when each one of us is called before God to account for our actions, may we all be able to say we fought the good fight and were never ashamed to proclaim that Christ is Lord.
