These are the people Obama would not support. The civilians it was OK to let be killed or abused by their government.
Why was it OK to let the Iranian dissidents twist in the wind, but we must intervene militarily to protect the Libyan civilians? How can this be consistent?
Because in each case, the most radical Islamic faction is supported by Barack Hussein Obama. The consistency is perfect.
And where was the Obama administration? You know, the Obama administration so willing to offer a thousand opinions on Egypt, but remained totally silent about Iran?
Some related points:
1. Torture, rape, executions, maiming, etc. have been ongoing for nearly 1400 yrs since the Islamic invasion of Iran. First Moslem Arabs did it to Iranians, then Iranian converts to Islam did it to their own people (adopting Bedouin Moslem Arab culture).
2. Since Khomeini took over, same things have been happening all over again, more frequently & with much more intensity.
3. Bassijis are thugs with sadistic tendencies, taught, fired up & rewarded by the mullahs for their despicable behavior & actions.
4. Many Iranians who supported & still do support this Islamic regime, are now unapologetically living comfortably in the West. They don’t care, they want to practice their ‘faith’, while exercising their ‘democratic right’ & big mouth to be pro-Islamic regime. And, to repackage & resell Islam to Iranians as a good thing.
5. The mullahs’ regime buys many Iranians with $$$$ and intimidates others abroad to shut them up.
6. Western gov’ts don’t give a damn cuz they get want they want out of Iran via the Islamic (Khomeinist) regime, which they helped bring to power in the first place.
7. Protestors in Iran should’ve learned by now that in Iran protesting sporadically & only with banners, slogans & stones won’t get them very far at all.
8. Rape happens to Men & Women in Iran.
9. As long as Iranians try to rationalize & differentiate between good & bad mullahs, radical & moderate Islam, political & whatever other imaginary type of Islam, they will be stuck with this regime & its treatment of them for yrs to come.
10. What many Iranians thought was ‘Islam’ during the Shah’s era isn’t coming back to Iran any time soon.

At first, I was kind of surprised to see this reported by PBS...but after thinking about it, it makes perfect sense as that’s one of the best ways to assure nobody sees it.
