CORPUS CHRISTI - Secretary of Education Arnie Duncan is weighing in on a controversial club started at Flour Bluff High School within the past year.
Students at the school ran into some trouble starting a Gay-Straight Alliance on campus and claimed that the school administration was working against their efforts. Then the school board voted in March to allow the club to meet on campus, at least temporarily...

Are Christian students allowed to “initiate” a club?
Only if they do not actually discuss Christianity.

Point to ponder...Basic, concept but you should bet my meaning.
This is very simple. Take the actual sex act out of homosexuality and you have 2 good friends who spend a lot of time together, period. Homosexual, by definition, requires the sexual act. You can ‘feel’ sexual attraction to a toaster but that doesn’t make you an Appliancesexual. You can ‘feel’ sexual attraction to a wall socket but that doesn’t make you an electrosexual. Though it could come as a shock to discover that ‘orientation’ ;)
“Thinking about” being a pilot does not mean you know how to fly. “Questioning” your choice of a red or green shirt does not mean you are a fashion critic. They require a physical component...flight experience or actual work in the fashion industry, as a tailor etc..
So the SecEd is advocating nothing less than sex based clubs in school because homoSEXuality requires actual sex. So can students form a BDSM club? Bestiality? Necrophilia?
I’m serious. Take the sexual act away from ‘Homosexual’ and what do you have? Feelings, longings and attractions are mental constructs. SEX is physical.
Words mean things. Perhaps we should stop buying into the Left’s redefining of language and bastardization of psychology to their benefit.

I've always thought it was a description of the compulsion rather than the act. Isn't a heterosexual a man or woman who desire sex with the opposite gender whether they are actually getting any or not?
Don't get me wrong, I think sex ed is a bunch of garbage. Outside of teaching the basics of how living things reproduce in biology, I'd eliminate all sex ed courses (along with drug awareness, alcohol awareness, self esteem training, sensitivity courses, etc).

But the term 'homosexual' is a description of those desires isn't it? If a group of people desire to have sex with aardvarks we have to classify them as something don't we? I mean whether they are actually accosting aardvarks or not they have a serious deviant compulsion that needs to be categorized as something.
Time for straight students to start a Straight is Great club and see what ole Arnie says about this.
