The most outrageous statement in the entire article:
“She is charged with conspiracy and heroin trafficking and is free on a $25,000 unsecured bond.”
How the F does ANYONE justify a no knock, door breaking raid to arrest a criminal that is going to be released on an unsecured bond?
This is not apparently Al Capone they were after.
There is the real reason, to create fear of authority in the citizens. That makes it easier to control them.
If they had a warrant, why not knock like civilized people and ask if the suspect is there? Let the homeowner read the warrant.
The homeowner says she’s not there? OK if you don’t believe him, come in and look around for a few minutes. Check under the beds, in closets, in the shower...then LEAVE without pointing guns at children or smashing doors. Have a guy watching the back door in case she is there and tries to run.
But no, I guess doing it that way wouldn’t puff up the cops’ swelled heads and let them feel macho.
The problem with these cops is that they watch too much TV, where every suspect cuts loose with a MAC-10 when they’re about to get arrested.
Now we have thousands of roided-up paramilitary goons who think they’re living an episode of “The Shield,” treating us all like we’re MS-13 gangbangers on a three-day meth high.

Excellent question! How about the raid on the house because the woman was wanted for student loan fraud?
But, you know, we can’t round up any illegals, that would be bad.
