Google denied Wednesday that it gave President Barack Obamas re-election campaign special access to a new advertising program, something a sales representative from the search and advertising giant had claimed in an email to customers.

If you have a slow Internet connection like me (56K dialup), Google senses that and uses the “old style” presentation of images. I actually prefer that style.
Don’t know if there is a way to specify this.

Ditto, remember when the scumbags at Google made the word "failure" direct you to George W. Bush? The "miserable failure" kerfuffle was a Google Bomb. It and other google bombs can and are organized by political activists, taking advantage of Google's search ranking algorithm. FR denizens had a try at it as well.
Google might, however, be accused of partisanship in the way it responds to particular Google Bombs, though.

You bought something that took 15 years to just break even and you think that’s good? Especially when that future value that broke even is worth less?
You would have been better off locking in 5% interest in a bond for that length of time.
