(2) . . . No law shall be in force until published
Now we will see if LaFollette holds up publishing the law again.

This is such good news. Those people were animals and should have gone to jail. Now they just go on home. They are all done.

A Higher Power has finally intervened to show the way to social justice in Wisconsin under His laws.
Praises that a majority in the WI SC finally got His message.

This was not a victory. This was a narrow escape. The ruling was 4 to 3 in the governor's favor. That's why the Liberals fought so hard in the recent judicial election. We care about the rule of law; they only care about victory.

I don’t see how. This decision was made by the Wisconsin Supreme Court. A separate branch of government which probably can publish its own decisions without approval of the Secretary of State.
To: Jean S
It was a 4-3 decision. Pathetic

Now we will see if LaFollette holds up publishing the law again. The Supreme Court decision also had an explicit statement that the Secretary of State had no legitimate reason to not publish the bill.

Her son was an activist for the SEIU and the AFL/CIO. He now has his own PR Agency that provides Lobbying and Ads for Dems. She should have recused herself based on conflict of interest. Glad to see the Supreme Court rebuke her.
To: Tarantulas
This is a MAJOR slap at the lower judge.
Essentially the SC dressed her down like a first year law student.
Does anyone know if this means union dues are no longer deducted?

want to bet that CNN and MSNBC will now avoid/blackout the story as “nothing to see move along”?
this preserves the ugly unionistas as the only voice (communist) and denys the American voice.

[they are reading the same constitution and coming up with different interpretations]
I don’t think they are reading the Constitution other than to figure out ways to get around it. They do not interpret the Constitution, they disregard it.
To: longtermmemmory
The WI Sec State is a Dem who wanted any excuse to not allow the anti-union bill to take effect. The WI Supremes told him in the decision that he has no further excuse.
