>>Aren’t most of the college socialists now on summer break back living off Mom and Dad at home?<<

Good point. That leaves just the union thugs and there are not enough of them.

The union thugs will go ballistic.

They plan huge demonstrations again at the State Capitol.

I'm thinking this will not be helpful to their recall efforts.

The court ruled that Dane County Circuit Judge Maryann Sumi’s ruling, which had held up implementation of the collective bargaining law, was void ab initio, or invalid from the outset.

In its decision, the state’s high court concluded that “choices about what laws represent wise public policy for the state of Wisconsin are not within the constitutional purview of the courts.”

The court concluded that Sumi exceeded her jurisdiction, “invaded” the Legislature’s constitutional powers and erred in halting the publication and implementation of the collective bargaining law.
How can i add to that?

It is summer and they probably won’t protest on their own time.

That's a good point and I agree. The citizens just may be getting fed up with union thugs.

Good news! Wisc. SC spanks rogue union-thug-in-robes Sumi

WSJ: The justices wrote, "One of the courts that we are charged with supervising has usurped the legislative power which the Wisconsin Constitution grants exclusively to the legislature."

This was not a victory. This was a narrow escape. The ruling was 4 to 3 in the governor's favor.

This should be a wake-up call to conservatives that we are just one or two elections away from a socialist court in Wisconsin. they are reading the same constitution and coming up with different interpretations.

The same thing is going on all over the country.

Comments on the news article are cute, running predominantly conservative and happy, with some Lefties being sour.

What’s the story about Patrick Crooks. I thought he was supposed to be a conservative. I think I remember when the local Republican Party backed him against ???

In its ruling Tuesday, the Supreme Court said it took up the case because the lower court had "usurped the legislative power which the Wisconsin Constitution grants exclusively to the Legislature."

From the link.
