House Speaker John Boehner on Tuesday joined President Barack Obama and a chorus of other Democrats in suggesting that Rep. Anthony Weiner resign, while a member of Weiner's New York congressional delegation said she expects him to quit soon.
Boehner, who until now has let Democrats wrestle with Weiner's sexually charged messages and photos to several women, responded with a one-word answer when reporters asked whether Weiner should quit.
"Yes," he responded.
Earlier, Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, D-N.Y., told reporters, "Hopefully, we are hearing he might resign in a couple of days." She did not say how she learned that Weiner may soon buckle under the pressure.
Weiner is seeking professional help at an undisclosed location. His wife, State Department official Huma Abedin, is due back from an overseas trip early Wednesday.

Exactly.
The operative word is 'mindless.'
It's a knee-jerk, look-at-me response when they see the name of someone they hate.......and totally predictable.
I find it most interesting that some of them don't seem to have the same hatred for Obama (or Weiner, for that matter) as they do for John Boehner.
Anyone who says 'boehner is the one who should go' or lays into an ugly diatribe in response to this thread is a non-thinking knee-jerker.
Boner wants weiner to beat it.
still no word from Chuck the Smuck Schumer or the NY Governor Coumo, both Weiners buddies
Indeed.
LLS
Big ole alligator tears.

Another weak politician. Stuck his finger in the air for 2 weeks before limply raising his hand. Meek, rino bastyrd.

Reminds me of the movie Harlem Nights when the shootout takes place and after the big guns stops firing one guy steps forward and fires a one shot p-shooter.
You might even say it was a flaccid response.
Interesting projection you have going there.
Perhaps if you had made the statement in this post explaining an actual thought you had (i.e. that weiner shouldn't resign) instead of your insipid, knee-jerk attack on Boehner you would actually contribute to reasoned debate.
I don't agree with Boehner that Weiner should resign, for the reasons you state. The longer he stays, the worse the Dems look. He is the poster boy for their perversion.
However, your initial statment that it is Boehner who should resign remains mindless, and calls to question your priorities.
Which reply to use:
“Welcome to the party, pal!” with a John McClane photo
or
“Day late and a dollar short” with a pic of Boner crying
Choices, choices
Boehner calls, “dogpile on the Weiner, dogpile on the Weiner.
I agree, I don’t think Boehner is up to the task.

Guess he ‘shed a tear’ also.
Statement (supposed)...I cried for the victims and I cry for Rep Weiner but with heavy heart I implore you to step down...given while choking back tears....
What a bunch of ‘girly boys’.
AT LEAST Nazi Pelosi had(has) a set of gonads and you don’t see her crying....well, her makeup would run and her eyes have been lifted so many times she probably can’t close them and the tear ducts have been ruined from all the botox.
So, maybe she would cry - were she able.
Goes to show you what a “go along” bonehead Boehner is.
He has the perfect gift from heaven in Weiner and he tries to get rid of him just because the ‘rat leadership decided it wants him out.
If he quits, that will leave only Debbie the Hare-lip Poodle to exaggeratedly slander the GOP and she can’t hold a candle to the Weener.
Other than Grayson, “Tough Tony” has no peer.
Agreed. Reminds me of the "Bush's fault" days.
Really annoying.
“Meek, rino bastyrd.”
We saw in the l’affair Joe Wilson how dims handle “ethics issues” when they control the House. Weiner deserves no less than immediate official condemnation but Boehner is hiding under his desk waiting for poll data before he decides what to do.
Your apology should have been about your lack of clarity, but thanks for the nice lib pretend apology (you know, the kind where you get to say the words 'I'm sorry' but in reality are blaming the other guy for being stupid).
As for weiner, I agree. He is a bad, bad man. Evil is the appropriate word.
This is funny coming from a Person, who is not doing his sworn duty, Job and consorting with the worst enemy of the republic since inception ,Quisling ,nothing more and needs removed from his piss soaked chair now!
