JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - There are no bombshells, no "gotcha" moments.
The emails of Sarah Palin - more than 24,000 pages of them released Friday by the state of Alaska from her first two years as governor - paint a picture of an image-conscious, driven leader, closely involved with the day-to-day duties of running the state and riding herd on the signature issues of her administration.

Indeed. I commented last night, that we haven't heard a peep of support for Governor Palin out of a single Republican hopeful.
For shame...
I sense a little something esoteric in that statement, not sure what.......It'll eventually come to me :^)
I caught that too, but thought I'd lay off him tonight. His eyes are probably bloodshot from crying so hard .. LOL
I’m an agnostic but the other day the thought hit me that Sara is the second coming. Wild.
Nothing is wild for an agnostic since they aren’t known for their sanity.
What’s with the anger? I only offered a thought.
I spoke with a couple tonight at dinner and I almost fell off my chair. They were furious...with the media. It's too small a sample size to mean anything but it will be extremely interesting to see the poll numbers a week or so from now.
In fact, the neighborhood bullies just went out to beat up a girl and came back with their butts kicked up between their ears. That, my FRiends, is a candidate.
Palin's scheduler sent her a note June 21, 2007, saying Gov. Mitt Romney - who was running for president - wanted to schedule a call to "catch up on things." The aide said Mike Tibbles, her former chief of staff, said she probably wouldn't be interested, and wondered how she should proceed.
"What is his number? Since it may be partisan, I should do this without state assistance. Thanks!" Palin replied.

It would be the GOP crooks who beat her.

It must have just killed them to have to write that headline.
Heck if any of them wanted to get some media coverage the best way would be to talk about Palin.
I’m sure it pained AP to have to write this headline.
While I would have read this anyway, I’m concerned about some of the keywords and topics people are attaching to articles these days, and the ability of anyone to add new topics or keywords. For example, the Bachmann keyword on this article. If I’m looking for Bachmann articles, this one should NOT crop up. By the same token, if I’m looking for Obama articles I don’t want to see Palin articles unless Obama is specifically mentioned in them. It’s not even an inconvenience, really, as articles can be ignored, but I do wonder what provokes people to attach those keywords in the first place.
The off-topic component of this post is now at its conclusion.
Looks like the 80% of Alaskans who thought she was doing a good job as governor were right. But, of course, what do they know.
So-o-o-o-o-o, MSM... How about the Blackberry email traffic from Obama since 2004.
(crickets)
Here is the way liberals work:
Since the Palin e-mails show no malfeasance, it is clear that they were sanitized prior to being released.
That is the ONLY explanation that liberals will accept because they know Palin is guilty of something.....they just haven’t found it yet.
“ask competitors to subject themselves to the same scrutiny.”
I completely agree, especially if she gets the nomination and can pose that question to Obama, who has benefited from the most aggressive cloistering of his background of any politician in American history.
