Just for the record Cerebral Palsy is a a physical disability to motor control due to a brain injury, some people with CP also have other disabilities that cause them to be mentally dev. delayed. Please take note. Thanks Chris...

you've hit the nail on the head. It's over for the U.S., cooked, done, complete. Tragic, sad, but it is truly over.

Debt slaves, overworked, non-thinking, your basic citizen is being deprived of his/her money and freedom, and cares very little about it. Fewer and fewer people remain who can recall a time when the U.S. wasn't a police state and when the average person could have a home and put food on the table for a family.

Franklin was right, “...if you can keep it.” We all lost it.

It is truly tragedy

Well, they diagnosed my niece as having mild CP. No doctor has ever really come to a concrete conclusion as to what happened to the poor thing. She has always had a slight weakness in the left side of her face, so there has been a suspicion that she may have had a stroke in-utero and suffered some kind of permanent brain damage from that. Hence the mental retardation and physical defects.

She was the very first grandchild to be born in my family, so you can imagine how heartbreaking it was to find out that she had all of these problems. She is still a joy to have in our family. It's hard to see her struggle with her issues, but she does it with such grace.

Are you kidding me?

The Department of Education has a SWAT team?! I guess they need it for those combative 5 year olds. They can really get out of hand sometimes!

Wow that’s really comforting. Not surprising in the least though!

The agents confiscated a six-inch plastic hammer, something Drew had carried with him for 20 years for comfort. Agents called it a security threat, his father said, adding that they tapped the wall with it and said, “See, it’s hard. It could be used as a weapon.” The family was told they’d have to ship the hammer if they wanted to keep it, David Mandy said. “I understand they’re trying to keep people safe,” Mandy said told MyFoxDetroit.com. “But come on, does he look like a terrorist?”

Unbelievable! The TSA are the "disabled" ones.

Excellent response. I have no plan. And any plan that I would agree to would not be something that I, alone, would do. But, I would like to do something -- WITH OTHERS -- that would be more than sitting here with coffee (how'd you know?) and keyboard.

And I do not mean political action such as joining a tea party or working for a candidate. Those things I either do, or will do (when I settle on a candidate).

I mean GROUP/COMMUNITY preparation for a worst-case scenario. I know that many people prepare, individually, for self-sufficiency and/or self-defense. I don't think it's enough.

You can call it hypocritical if you like (and it kinda is); but I'm hoping to engage in discussion as to what might be done -- not to tell anyone what to do (I don't know for sure).

In short, I'm not saying that I'm doing anything, or that I know what to do. I'm hoping that you (or anyone else) can tell me what YOU are doing (with others, NOT individually) and how I can get involved.

Roundabout way of getting to it, I admit; but, I need help -- I need hope to shake me out of the mindset in which I wrote the original post.

I need hope in fellow Americans -- not in politicians ... that way lies eternal disappointment.

Franklin was right, “...if you can keep it.” We all lost it. It is truly tragedy Attributed to Thomas Jefferson is the saying that "the price of Liberty is eternal vigilance"

We have not been vigilant. Our present tribulations, I believe, are our penance for having failed in this duty.

It IS tragic. However, despite what I wrote, ALL hope is not lost (is it ever?). But all reasonable expectation of success in returning this nation to a Constitutional Republic is lost. We need something -- some fuel -- to use the spark of hope to light a fire of "reasonable expectation of success" in saving Liberty.

You don't happen to have some "Liberty Fuel" handy, do you? I'm fresh out.

The good thing is i quit smoking 3 years ago. Hopefully I’ll live longer which will give me a better chance of getting groped at the airport.

That is just of a few of the posts here about this. Frightening isn’t it?

Time to clean house. The entire U.S. Department of Education (Re-education) needs to be eliminated including their SWAT team.
