Palin Emails:What You'll See & What You Won't [ no requests from Palin to redact or withhold any]

Gov. Sean Parnell’s press secretary, and the deputy press secretary for then-Gov. Sarah Palin, held a brief media availability this morning before the release of the collection of nearly 25,000 Palin emails.

The records were reviewed by the Alaska Office of Law, the office of Gov. Sean Parnell and a lawyer representing Palin. The state received no requests from Palin’s lawyer to redact or withhold any documents.

The release will also cover emails sent by Palin from her personal email account to the state government accounts of 55 current and former employees.

If you follow a rule of not putting anything into e-mails that you wouldn’t like to see in the newspaper tomorrow or history books a 100 years from now, you’ll likely be fine.

Eventually, the Times and ABC and Washington Post, and all the liberal media, will discover an e-mail, where she admits that she has farted at one time or another, and then that media will make it front-page news, and declare that Palin should never be allowed to become president, because, she might accidentally let out a fart in front of a foreign dignitary. Oh, the indignity! It might bring about WW4 or something.

"The state received no requests from Palin’s lawyer to redact or withhold any documents."

Apparently, she has nothing to worry about. Isn't it a shame the media doesn't vet obama a tenth as much?

I wonder if these commie maggots at the NY Slimes and Wash Compost are going to request Mr. Weiner’s emails and Tweets. I’ll bet those would send a tingle up their legs.

I just cannot believe what they're doing to this lady. She's a good person, a good wife and mother, and has never done anything to warrant this type of hatred for her. It's scarey what the liberals are doing to try to destroy her, as though she's not even a human being with a spirit and soul. Hearts have grown cold in these times, love is something from the past. And it's curious, the Bible says that "in those last days hearts will grow cold, rebellion will be commonplace, children will openly defy their parents" etc. (This can be found in one of the letters to Timothy). I have never seen anything like this before in politics. The depths the Democrats will sink to to take an opposing candidate down are stunning. It's reminiscent of the old Soviet style politics, with the KGB and state owned media literally destroying anyone whom they thought was a threat to their power. In a word, half of America has become Brutal.

Liberals must really fear Sarah Palin, deeply. But why? What do they think she will do to them if she becomes President? Frankly, I believe it's all religious in nature. If you're a Christian in these days you will be feared and dispised, because the atheists, secularists, homosexuals, abortionists and feminists fear their sick, twisted agendas will begin to fold under the leadership of a Christian. It truly is a battle between good and evil. And I'll say this to all conservatives, you had better fight back with prayer, AND with the same energy and tenacity that the liberals fight with, or we'll lose and Communism will be ushered in. And what is Communism but the organized destruction of Christianity and freedom. We had better fight back, hard, or lose everything our forefathers fought, shed their blood, and died for.

I assume the NY Times will be severely sued by the folks she communicated with, for publishing their names and email addresses without permission.

A report I heard this morning said that all these emails are being released with the ~other~ party’s names AND email addresses unredacted.

That strikes me as irresponsible. They should be at the very least redacting the email addresses of these people. Otherwise it’s just asking for harassment of those people, who did nothing more than exchange a few messages with their governor.

Names are probably OK, but email addresses, phone numbers, residential addresses and any other personal information should and could be reasonably withheld.

“Names are probably OK, but email addresses, phone numbers, residential addresses and any other personal information should and could be reasonably withheld.”

The time has come for people to take responsibility for their actions. Sarah asked for no personal redactions, there is no reason the twits who wrote those e-mails to her should ask for redactions either. So be it if they and their families have to suffer the same pain they have caused Sarah and her family.

At some point the papers will get wise, or feel so much heat for the trouble they are causing the enemies of 'Cuda, that they will discontinue the publishing of Email messages. You can only shoot yourself in the foot so many times before the pain becomes unbearable.

Well, tell it to the whorehouse media--they are the ones putting these emails into the public domain.

Palin didn't ask to have this junk published.

Perhaps they should have read the privacy policy BEFORE firing off the e-mail.
http://gov.alaska.gov/parnell/privacy-policy.html

I doubt it’s changed much since Sarah was gov.

Likely not true. At some point you become numb to pain. Your mind shuts down.

Kinda like a lib in the medias mind did long ago ;)

Plus, I don’t think there is much left past the ankle at this point.

by next week, they will have run all the emails through a spell checker, and will have a comprehensive report on how stupid Sarah is because she misspelled 524 words while holding office in Alaska.

Jon Steward and Colbert will do a special report on it.

“Names are probably OK, but email addresses, phone numbers, residential addresses and any other personal information should and could be reasonably withheld.”

The time has come for people to take responsibility for their actions. Sarah asked for no personal redactions ....

I can see the concern of the emailers -- I wouldn't like it if some email I sent to one of my elected representatives was published for media scrutiny with all my contact info. Though truth is, people can find out that info if they want on me -- or pretty much any other American -- via the internet if they take the trouble.

Had Palin done the senders the courtesy of redacting info from the emails, the MSM would be on full-volume siren. They'd factually point out that Palin redacted info from virtually every email (how very suspicious!) ... and fail to report further that in EVERY SINGLE CASE, the info redacted was contact info and ONLY contact info. The same kinds of folks who claim "Palin quit! She's a quitter!" would then say, "Palin made redactions on every single email! That's a fact!" And trying to explain the error in their conclusion would be like trying to teach an ape how to play Scrabble. ("Poor bastard ... he's spelled 'library' with an 'e' again." -- hat tip to Douglas Adams)

Maybe Palin is about as dumb as a fox.

Rush pointed out today that the earliest released emails still had all the recipients' email addresses -- not redacted. What an opportunity for scammers and spammers!

Can anyone say, "lawsuit"?
