Unless you’re part of Obama’s inner circle, I don’t think there’s any way to know what exactly motivates him. Personally, I think he’s simply following his ideology. I’d really like to believe he thinks he’s going to help the country by turning it into the USSR (as though the fall and failure of the USSR and its ideology never happened). The alternative, that he intentionally wants to destroy the USA, is very difficult for me to accept. Of course the end result is the same in either case.
To think I actually served for more than two decades to defeat the USSR and Communism only to see the USA go down the same path. We really had an exceptional country where individual liberty and morality were once the norm. To see President Obama and his ilk (let’s not forget he’s far from alone) turn the USA into just another socialistic, big government, administrative state is so hard for me to accept. Whatever happened to the rugged individualism Americans once favored?

It went out, as more and more people were fooled into thinking that the government is there to solve all their problems, and they are depending on the government, instead of themselves, forgetting that if they want the government to help, they will be owned by the government.

She is a Chicago slum lord, born in Iran, and a hardened Communist. She doesn’t give a damn about anyone, period. It is all about power accrued illegally to herself.
There are a lot of threads woven into this situation. I, too, served during the Cold War. But this isn’t exactly the same. I perceive it is very complicated. There are many people and movements involved, and not all of them get along.
You must understand that the destruction of America is a must to accomplish his view of A BETTER AMERICA.
Remember the Communists that took power in Russia did by taking over the revolution in Russia.
Communism needs Political/Social/Financial upheaval to be able to step in and take power. Communists DO NOT NEED a majority.

Obama seems to desire fascism/Chinese Communist/expansion of crony capitalism model where the means of production is a partnership between the strong central State and the producers. USSR proved that government having full control of production prevented the economy from expanding and created a huge misery index among the populous. Obama's curiosity with Reagan and his willingness to compromise with the Bush tax cuts says a lot about how he is not a Communist or bust ideologue.
Socially/culturally is where Obama’s totalitarian ambition shines. Control thought, beliefs, the message and reward allegiance to the promotion of his ideology while punishing detractors (The control of health care and education are major keys for this).
