Oh indeed. That they were literally forced into reporting on Weiner, was in large part I think because of the unfortunate name of Weiner. The temptation to run the story was I think, too much for even the MSM to resist.

I wrote this piece back in 2006 when the Foley scandal was in full swing.

The parallels are remarkable, not the least of which was Foley resigning in disgrace while the Weiner hangs on in order to “do the work of the people”.

Despicable.

I've quit listening or watching MSM news. Well down here it's interesting on the take of US news plus news of the world that's not shown in the same way as back home. I get my news fix on FR plus some other internet news sites that I trust.
