What we can only assume is the worst couple of weeks in Rep. Anthony Weiners life continues. Andrew Breitbart appeared on The Opie and Anthony Show on Sirius Radio this morning in the latest stop on his I Told You So Tour and showed the hosts, Anthony Cumia and Gregg Opie Hughes a picture that he said he wouldnt release; a fully uncensored photo that purports to be of Weiners genitals. Breitbart showed the picture on his cell phone which he passed around. Unsurprisingly, the hosts quickly snapped a shot of the screen and tweeted the image out to numerous news outlets.
So, yeah, the pictures out there now.
It will be interesting to see how much this picture affects the story. After all, everyones basically already seen Weiners penis albeit covered by underwear. And the photo doesnt add any new indiscretions. However, its quite possible that seeing an actual pornographic, fully nude image will be enough to put the final nail in the coffin.
One interesting detail is that this image will not be allowed on television which means people, in all of their curiosity, will look it up online, making them more actively involved in the story. Thats something that could affect how strongly they feel about Weiner and the scandal either way.
Whatever the case, this is not a good development for Rep. Weiner.

“First comment in on Gawker already trotting out the Liberal double standard with:
Hes not a sexual hypocrite policywise, hes an advocate for sexual liberation. So what is the story here?
Uh, policy wise he did write internet sexual predator legislation, and hes saying he doesnt know if any of the girls he sent pictures to were under age.”
—Yep. Plus, there’s the fact that- regardless of what the Libs say, there *is* a “moral” code for the Left (in the form of political correctness).
When Allen West hung out with some biker group right before the election, (a group which apparently put out some kind of magazine with scantily dressed women posing near bikes) Debbie Waserman-Schultz said it was “exploitative” of women, and held a protest out his campaign headquarters. What Weiner has done is far, far beyond any of that... yet, she has said absolutely squat about this.
Best comment.
in das deutsch, or even Yiddish, ei= EYE
ie= EE.
There are people named "Wiener." It means Viennese.
There are people named "Weiner," which means wine merchant or somethin' like it.
Next week, I'll tell you what a "Huma" is. Meantime, let's call this weenie-wagger by his right name.
WYE-ner.
Not only is that the SOB's name, it's what he does after his "weenie-wagging" got reported.
Now, what I want to know is, "How did it get outed, exactly?"
“Id hit it.”
Yes, you wood. (spelling intentional)
Did you get out to the story about the 39 year old Texas teacher who got caught in the car with the student?
She was guilty.
“Do you really think Breitbart is that dumb. I think he had to know those jerks would do such a thing. Makes me respect him less.”
—Just in:
FOX News reported this afternoon that Andrew Breitbart is mortified after talk radio hosts Opie and Anthony snagged a photo of Rep. Weiners wiener and posted it online today. Breitbart told FOX News it was a breach of contract. Breitbart said Opie Hughes secretly took the picture when he was on the show this morning.
It was a complete violation of trust.
You know wjay I told my kids - you put it on Facebook, MySpace, a blog or even send an email - it can haunt you forever.
And it’s your fault for putting it out there.
Why assume he released it? I won’t assume those 2 clowns got their hands on the Breitbart pic.
That has to be the Dems biggest fear. Don’t you know the tabloids and blogs are investigating the heck out of this to try to identify underage girls who twittered with @repweiner. They will contact the parents and offer money if the girl will come forward and play the victim and provide evidence.
Parents, “let me make sure I understand you, you will give me the money to send my daughter to college for four years?”
I would not want to bank on the above scenario not happening if I were the Dem leadership. The guy who championed child protection laws for the internet turns out to be a predator. That would be a target rich environment indeed.
New york is after all the Great Satan. The statement is a certainty. The city is rotten to the Brooklyn and Queens core.
Why is he pulling it out (yikes) on a shock jock radio program anyway? Why is it still on his phone? Why show it at this point?
Doesn’t make sense that he wasn’t aware someone had taken that picture.
Oh well. My feeling is he puts his neck on the line like no other, and this story would have been buried if not for him - but sometimes he comes off like a big kid that deep down knows better.
The title creates a very disturbing mental image. Please reword that somehow..... (here goes my lunch, bleuuuuch)
Are you serious? or are you attempting a joke that isn’t working?
You CAN’T not have known!
Breibart said he would keep it as insurance against attacks to him or the women victims. Do we know there were no such attacks? How do we know that AB is in sole posession of only image?

—I hear what you’re saying, and obviously I can’t speak for somebody else- but I think Ed Morrisey at Hot Air has a reasonable take on what Breitbart was thinking:
“Gawker blames Breitbart for showing off as well, but Breitbart tells Fox that he kept it to prove to other reporters that he wasnt bluffing. Both takes are plausible, and whether you believe one or the other probably relates to how you feel about Andrew Breitbart himself. Im inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt, especially after all the ridiculous attacks he took in the first few days of the scandal. Id want to make sure that reporters knew I was telling the truth in that situation as well and if that also meant at least a subtle bit of gloating went along with the defense, its hard to blame him.”

“Doesnt make sense that he wasnt aware someone had taken that picture.”
—I guess the question is how serious is Breitbart when he says “breach of contract”, right? Does he mean it in a legal sense?
The bar has been lowered to the point that you’d have to hire a gopher to get under it.
We know for a fact that he is not.
Unfortunately, yes. It falls squarely into the category of things that I wish I could unsee.
I thought Breitbart did a masterful job of playing the media all the way through hijacking Weiner's press conference; however, he completely lost it when he started passing his cell phone around with a picture of Weiner's weiner.
I can fully appreciate Breitbart keeping the picture in case Weiner tried to call him a liar again, but what is he doing carrying it around with him on his cell phone, and did he really think that passing it around on the Opie and Anthony show was a good idea?
Hot Air’s take is sensible.
Breitbart has more than demonstrated he wasn’t bluffing though. He doesn’t need to keep proving himself.
I’d much rather see him pressure Weiner to resign.
With hammer, mallet or pepper spray?
Huma may be considering a hatchet.
