Chicago police say they have three people in custody after the latest mob-style attack on Chicago's Near North Side.
At least two people were robbed by a group of people Tuesday night.
Several residents and employees were on edge Wednesday, afraid the group attacks are becoming the norm.
A pack of a dozen police officers patrolled the crime scene area Wednesday morning. They said it was business as usual. However, those who live and work in the area said they wanted more protection.

Note that the police officers were patrolling as "a pack." Not "an apparent pack."

Also note there was no mention of the race of the perps or the victims—another affie on whitey crime ignored by the press. Make no mistake, if it was the other way around, hate crime would have been splashed all over national news.

It’s a fascinating phenomenon isn’t it. There are about 4 reports on Drudge, everything to random attacks on their lakefront on tourists and convention attendees to mass attacks on city busses in which passengers are attacked and fleeced.

The only people allowed firearms are the criminals and police on the streets, due to the laws.
Well, criminals aren't allowed, but criminal do not care, this is why they are criminals.
Criminals do not obey the law, as law-observing citizens do.

I think that there are several reasons, but one of them is the expectation of no penalty for participating.

I don’t find it “fascinating” at all....I find it highly disturbing, and what I find the most disturbing is that people sit there and take it....sure, you can’t fight off 15 black thugs, but you sure could bloody the face of one or two to make them think once or twice about it next time....

I imagine that the media will soon be putting a lid on reports of future attacks. I would suggest for FR people that; if an attack occurs in your home region and is not reported, then post it on this site.
I understand the catalyst for all these mob attacks in recent weeks, but it seems as though they have sprung up out of nowhere. What are the chances they are being orchestrated by some nefarious commander? We know a bunch of lefties wanted a version of the Egyptian revolts to hit America. This could be what they were looking for.
They may, indeed. I don't think it will work though. The same media that makes these coordinated attacks possible also makes their existence impossible to hide.
FWIW, my expectation is that we'll soon see call for licensure of cell phones, more warrantless evesdropping on cell phones, including warrantless tracking of individual cell phones by means of GPS and tower-triangulation.
We also may see judges handing down sentences that include "no cell phone use for five years" or "no cell phone use for life." When sentencing patterns reveal a racial correlation to these sentences, they'll be attacked as unconstitutional.
We'll also be seeing different types of social networking activity prosecuted as criminal offenses. There will be cases of ordinary people, setting up a meeting of three or four friends at a mall food court, resulting in a "dynamic entry" attack of residences, based on information from a "Confidential Informant."
They have their boy in the Whitey House and they have their boy at the [In]Justice Department. As such, they pretty much have “Carte Blanche” to do their thing. Remember, Eric “the racist” Holder has said he will not prosecute blacks.
Opposite. Liberals thought Obama would help race relations. Instead we have more mob violence, much of it against urban liberals. All those people enamored with the celebrity president are worried that we can’t afford him anymore. He’ll lose in 2012 if this keeps up. People will not vote for no jobs and mob violence.
