Bachmanns problem is that Palin has a record in Alaska with 88% approval in Aug 2008. Bachmann cannot compete with Palins record.

Bachmann is not to be trusted any longer, IMO. Palin has been a staunch ally of hers. This is backstabbing of the worst kind - of a friend. If she'd do this to Palin, what would she do to conservatives if she decided we needed to go under the bus for Bachmann to win the general?
And I have NEVER bashed Bachmann before this.

hires a bigtime tea party critic ... allows him to attack other conservatives using MSM talking points, and neither of them are even yet candidates. The Tea Party is what made her a national figure, and apparently her ambitions are such that the Tea Party can join Palin under her bus. Screw her. You dance with those who brought you and Bachmann apparently is so full of herself that she's forgotten that.

The only one missing from the party is MeCain’s old Palin-bashing douche-bag, Steve Schmidt. He's bound to turn up soon. ...probably with T.E.A. Party hater Mitt.

Wasn’t January the month MB returned SP’s contribution from SarahPac? I thought I read that someplace.

Its just politically stupid. Yesterday I was saying only Newt had stumbled worse out of the gate.
Today I think Bachmann's stumble has been worse. We all knew Newt had a bad case of Beltway-itis, so the knife in the back from him was hardly unexpected. But from Bachmann? She just alienated a large swath of folks who would be willing to supporter her if Palin doesn't enter the race or if Palin failed to get traction as a candidate. Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, STUPID.

And Bachmann has never won a statewide race. The inherent weakness of a Congresscritter as a presidential candidate.
And given Bachmann's performance here, she apparently has MUCH to learn about pulling together coalitions. You don't build a coalition by knifing existing supporters to gain new ones.

I wonder if Michele even realizes that as soon as the GOP elites finish with using her to destroy Palin, that they will dump her overboard too?
She is either complicit or stuck on stupid.

Now is the perfect time to clear the field. We need to know peoples mettle now and NOT in September 2012.

I think Bachmann didn’t cash the check from the fundraiser.....now it makes sense!
To: trisham
I continue to be puzzled by Bachmanns failure to respond. Everything you see and hear coming from the GOP-Elite in DC concerning the 2012 campaign needs to be taken in the context of Stop Sarah
I can't say it enough. This is all part of a grand GOP-E strategy to take out both Palin and Bachmann and to splinter the TEA Party movement in order to clear the way for GOP-E's preferred candidates---currently Romney and Pawlenty, and previously Daniels. Remember how despicably the party's leadership behaved with regard to Christine O'Donnell and Sharon Angle? NOTHING has changed since then.
To: dirtboy
Yep. Sure shows she has no experience. I don’t want her anywhere near the “football”.

Michelle Bachmann, who has accomplished very little in Congress, but used it for a platform to promote Michelle Bachmann, would not make a decent scab on Sarah Palin’s elbow.

Wasnt January the month MB returned SPs contribution from SarahPac? I thought I read that someplace. Yep, and that's when MB's staff turned up in South Carolina and Iowa and started bad mouthing Palin to state and local GOP organizers.

Just remember fellow FReepers.....Sarah said the more competition the better a candidate we will get (thats not word for word, just the gist of it).
Sarah loves competition and will exceed. We need ALL great candidates to take a shot in the Primaries.
Let’s keep praying God tells Sarah she MUST run, lol!
If she runs, she wins.
