No he is not. In some ways a Romney win would be worse. He would be the traitor within the gates, rather than the enemy at the gates. The sly traitor can effect far more damage within than can the bumbling aggressor who is a declared enemy. To hell with both of them, and anyone who would support either, at any stage of the ongoing collapse.
