What else is he gonna do at this point [but step down]? He was wanting to run for NYC Mayor at some point. I think this scandal puts an end to that.

It doesn't necessarily put an end to a bid for the office. Not in NYC at least.

I don’t think Weiner would survive the NYC mayoral primary.

At this point, there’s so much new evidence coming out which essentially proves that this guy just plays around on the internet all day.

If Rudy Giuliani had played around on the internet all day, the city of NY never would have been turned around from the mess it was in the 70s and 80s.

It doesn't necessarily end him, and by God, I hope he doesn't resign. Keeping this fool around but destroying his credibility is the best possible scenario here.

He's a joke now, and I'd rather have our enemies turned into laughingstocks than have them replaced by fresh faces with unknown weaknesses.

Alinsky was right. Ridicule is the most powerful weapon around. I hope Lil Weiner stays in the ring as long as he can endure it.
