That’s my biggest goal in this next election, taking away the reins of power from the elites of both parties. I’m not interested in only defeating Obama, I’m interested in defeating them all. It’s the only way we’ll ever grab a hold and solve these problems the two parties only trot out every election cycle to run against each other.

My dad asked me what I liked about Sarah Palin - I said that I don’t have to speak for her, she speaks for herself. I don’t have to pimp her out, or try to mold her into some little form to fit, I don’t have to stretch her words beyond belief to get to an acceptable position. All I have to do is support her, and I do. Unlike most other candidates, that you have to shill for, and take a long bath afterward to feel clean again, Sarah speaks for herself, defends herself, and expresses herself. And she’s pretty darned geniune in doing so, too.

Yeah, and then the problems "mysteriously" never go away, no matter who gets voted in!! This election is crucial.

Amen! She is a refreshingly good original thinker.

Is your dad for or against?

Unfortunately, my dad voted for and defends Obama. He is a lifelong Democrat who wonders where he went wrong with me.:)

And worse yet, I’ve flipped my brothers to the conservative side as well.

I think my dad is ambivalent with respect to Sarah because she’s a woman, to be honest. He was a huge Reagan supporter, but he constantly talks down Sarah to me, while defending her to my sister, who is the rotten liberal in the family. lol.

Right. Washington isn’t about solving problems. The Elites are about creating and managing crisis to entrench themselves in power and enrich themselves on the taxpayer’s dime.

Ah.. your dad will come around once the Palin campaign hits its stride. I wish I could say the same for my dad.
