I noticed that, too. I think that she has made an effort to slow down. Sometimes, she has a tendency to talk fast, and I guess that bothers some people. I imagine that it is hard on TV or radio to strike a balance. I know that I have seen people that talk to slowly and some who speak to quickly.

I might be able to shed a little light on why Sarah Palin sounds the way she does. Having spent a lot of time in numerous Alaskan villages, I immediately realized that Sarah has a distinctive native Alaskan sound to her. She sounds just like any Aleut or Eskimo or Tlingit woman I’ve ever spoken with.

The liberals, closet racists that they are, ridicule the speech pattern because it doesn’t sound “anglo” enough to their ears.
