Palin’s threat for those who disagree ("I’ll step on the[ir] toes")

(CNN) – Fresh off the first leg of her “One Nation” bus tour, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said she did not mean to distract from Mitt Romney’s presidential announcement by visiting New Hampshire on the same day, adding that she reserves ill intent for those with whom she disagrees.

“I do apologize if I stepped on any of that PR that Mitt Romney needed or wanted that day. I do sincerely apologize. We didn’t mean to step on anybody’s toes,” Palin said on “Fox News Sunday.” “I’ll step on the toes of those who are making poor decisions for our nation … I don’t have a problem stepping on toes of those … who keep screwing up.”

The potential 2012 presidential candidate said her five-day tour was not about her – despite its appearance as a publicity tour – and instead showed her the desire Americas have to get back to the country’s foundational principles and away from the positions held by President Barack Obama.

She compared his economic policies to the Titanic, a ship she said will soon be “drowning in debt and in additional economic problems.”

“It’s very noble of President Obama to want to stay at the helm and maybe go down with this sinking ship, but I prefer and many Americans prefer that we start plugging the hole,” Palin said. “We don't have to go the way of the Titanic.”

It is absolutely amazing how much time, money and effort the toadies in the state run “media” spend telling us how Sarah Palin is “unelectable”. PDS is real and the commie libs are scared.

Just listen to and obey the paparazzi press.

Think what they tell you to think.

It will serve you well.

that’s ok, just vote for who you want in the primaries, and. for Sarah when she wins the nomination. I hope you at least are supporting one of the conservative candidates.

Hard to believe they framed the story that way: Palin’s threat, like she’s some kind of violent person or something.

Especially after what Obama’s done to this country with his Chicago thug style politics.

Gotta love this quote from the reporter/writer/hack:

“...despite its appearance as a publicity tour...”

It so bleepin obvious the pain they were holdin back when submitting the story......

She compared his economic policies to the Titanic,

Not really the same. Up to the iceberg, the Captain had been doing a good job. Circumstances beyond his control led to the great loss of life, and the sinking of the ship.

The Captain of the Titanic wasn't down in the bilge of the ship drilling holes in the bottom to let the water out.

Where have you been the last 20 years? Anytime a republican gives his opinion on what a democrat is doing policy-wise, it is an attack, not a response. Anytime a democrat calls for physical violence against a republican or a conservative member of the public, it is characterized as “countering.”

Of course. And who knows, Sarah might win me back. It is still a bit early to be set in stone on any one candidate.

How rude... THis is a Free Republic web site. It is not just a Sarah PAlin site. You don’t have to get personal with others who do not share the adoration that you do for Palin. We need a winner to get Obama out. Palin has become a target for criticism, much of which she has brought upon herself.

Well that didn’t take long. That headline is completely misleading of course. That is not even the correct context.
But why am I not surprised.

Yeah! In fact, FR should invest in a big wooden cross, so that the next time the Anti-Palin Hand Wringing Squad feels unappreciated for their many sacrifices, they can crawl on up and nail themselves to it.
