Breitbart drops the hammer, calls out Jeffrey Toobin on ‘Weinergate’
The Daily Caller ^ | 5/31/11 | Jeff Poor

Posted on 05/31/2011 9:36:43 PM PDT by Nachum

If a conservative politician does something or is alleged to have done something ill-advised of the sexual nature, chances are it will be on the radar of the mainstream media. But what about liberals – like New York Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner?

According Andrew Breitbart, there’s a double standard not only in the mainstream media, but among members of Congress as well. On Tuesday’s “Follow the Money” on the Fox Business Network, Breitbart went right after those politicians. However, he also had a few words for CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin, who attacked Breitbart earlier in the day.

“Look, there’s clearly a double standard with the mainstream media,” Breitbart said. “If this were a Republican, like Mike Lee or Larry Craig or Mark Foley, it becomes the single most important story in the history of the media for three weeks, four weeks. We are inundated with it and then the Nancy Pelosis and Anthony Weiners of the world come out there and say there has to be the ethics investigation because this is how Republicans are but yet the Democrats right now are going out there on TV just like Jeffrey Toobin who has been involved in his own sexual scandal – Jeffrey Toobin who sought out during Monica Lewinsky tried to investigate into Henry Hyde’s sex life going back years and this guy is going on television today to say we shouldn’t pay attention to an alleged hack into a congressman’s computer? It’s ridiculous.”

You know... I 'might' feel sorry for Cong. Weiner.

(clock ticking)

Nah. Not sorry for him at all.

Jeffrey Toobin knocked up Jeff Greenfield’s daughter about two years ago (while married to another woman) and the media was totally silent about it.

Posting a picture of your mini hard on on the web is in no way comparable to smooching an aid in an elevator after a Christmas party. This guy is a dick... And a little one at that... He will remain in office for life, or until a complete psychotic break with reality forces other powers to remove him. He has a bright future in the democrat party.

The difference is that democrats are shameless. scandal and perversion does not ruin their reputation. It enhances it.

If republicans are implicated in some ethically questionable thing, they immediately resign in shame.

The truth of the matter is that democrats know that their constituents will support them whereas republicans know that their constituents will replace them.
Thus by holding our party to a higher standard, we undermine them.

I am not saying this is wrong, I'm just pointing out the end result.

Jeff Greenfield — the father of alleged Toobin baby mama Casey Greenfield, and Toobin’s former CNN colleague — has had some entanglements of his own. Some two decades ago, the marriage of noted political journalist and speechwriter Peggy Noonan hit the rocks because of an alleged affair with … Jeff Greenfield.

Noonan was romantically linked to Greenfield in 1990. At the time, Greenfield was married to Carrie Carmichael — Casey’s mother, whom he later divorced.

Also not pictured: Sen. Daniel Inouye. The 82-year-old Hawaii Democrat was accused in the 1990s by numerous women of sexual harassment. Democrats cast doubt on the allegations and the Senate Ethics Committee dropped its investigation.

Former Rep. Gus Savage. The Illinois Democrat was accused of fondling a Peace Corps volunteer in 1989 while on a trip to Africa. The House Ethics Committee decided against disciplinary action in 1990.

Former Sen. Brock Adams. The late Washington Democrat was forced to stop campaigning after numerous accusations of drugging, assault and rape, the first surfacing in 1988.

Former Rep. Fred Richmond. This New York Democrat was arrested in 1978 for soliciting sex from a 16-year-old. He remained in Congress and won re-election—before eventually resigning in 1982 after pleading guilty to tax evasion and drug possession.

Former Rep. John Young. The late Texas Democrat increased the salary of a staffer after she gave in to his sexual advances. The congressman won re-election in 1976 but lost two years later.

Former Rep. Wayne Hays. The late Ohio Democrat hired an unqualified secretary reportedly for sexual acts. Although he resigned from Congress, the Democratic House leadership stalled in removing him from the Administration Committee in 1976.

Former Rep. Mel Reynolds. The Illinois Democrat was convicted of 12 counts of sexual assault with a 16-year-old. President Bill Clinton pardoned him before leaving office.

....and the list goes on & on

Republicans get run out for a smooch or a suggestive word.

Democrats can hump the heck out of your teenage intern sons bottom after feeding him a few greygoose martinis; Or simply kill your daughter because they knocked her up and she will not shut up... They all win reelection for life.

The impregnated females are generally homicided, the boys promised a future.

I am so far behind enemy lines that it amazes me that others out there do not understand how these things work.

It is not pretty, but it is what it is.

Another was New Jersey nurse Nicole Aquino: “I followed him originally, I’m a fan of his politics. Then he tweeted me back asking if I thought it was all right if he could follow me. I was flattered he wanted to follow me back.”

Weiner also follows young ladies in Florida, California and Texas, The Post reports today.

Significantly, when two people follow each other on Twitter, they can send private messages. But it’s not hard to inadvertently send one that’s public — the equivalent of “reply to all” on e-mail.

The volatile Weiner’s many quirks have already raised serious questions about his fitness to run City Hall.

For that reason alone, there is a compelling public interest in finding out who sent the offending photo, and why.

Weiner needs to turn the matter over to law-enforcement officials and let them sort out the details.

The impregnated females are generally homicided,

So it's probably a miracle that obama was even born. Maybe that is why his real birth mother fly back to Indonesia to give birth.

To clarify... The sons are spared because of fear of the wrath of the father.

The girls get written off to random pervert sociopath homicides. There is an order of operation in the mind of powerful politically connected men that is easily manipulated... Occasionally you get the exception if he took a fondness to a bitch child of his that had to be removed.

It is a pshycologilacly viable mechanism that works every time. Johnny is not going to tell daddy that he got a butt plug from a Senator, trust me on that. He just talks about his promotion to the State Department..

Well, thta’s a bit of an overstatement. Larry Craig and John Ensign didn’t immediately quit. They *did* decide not to run again, but not for months after the scandals.

We should not go off half cocked on this prickly situation. Sen. Schumer has vouched for Congressman Weiner. Isn't that enough?

Weinergate: Anthony Weiner calls TV producer a jackass during CNN interview, refuses to answer questions on alleged hack and brags about passing Michele Bachmann in twitter followers

Jackass? We don't know what party the TV producer belongs to, but we do know Weiner's Party.
