The US government welfare intiatives coming from Obama will be the same in fact, just “softer and gentler,” disguised as “helping” the poor disadvantaged woman who have made the decision to be “independent”, with no idea at all that they have made wrong decisions in their private lives.
Truth hurts sometimes but we can now see why they were NOT allowed to vote.
It’s not stupidity its plain insecruity. Women are given the primarily responsiblity of raising the kids as it should be and since so many are on their own they naturally believe that they will be better protected with a big government, which, some actually are.
All true, but what I was alluding to was the politics of actually supporting the welfare state for others, and the notion of assigning responsibility for the failures of the welfare state will have women moving on from the feel good nonsense.
Getting women to move on from the feel good nonsense is a big chore.We have had almost 2 generations of single parent women subsidized by the federal government and the state. It is a subculture of not needing men at all in theor lives, except for the ocassional sexual foray , they have “boy toys.” This is enabled by the nanny state.
The only renedy is to get the economy working full tilt and cut off funding for this sub culture.It would have to be gradual, and it needs to be a plan followed by several consecutive presidential administrations.

Today even with contraceptives and abortion at her disposal she thinks she can depend on the government to support her and her child. In a way, that is a blessing, because it enables the child to live and get by. In another a curse, because she feels she has no need to live a regular life.

I was speaking of the Useful Idiot liberals (as Lenin called them). They are most certainly Apparatchniks; without them, the communist/socialits scumbags would NEVER have gotten a foothold anywhere. They’ve always been a minority and have been able to manipulate groups to their mindset.

That’s exactly why they’ve always attacked the family, especially the traditional family. Security by the government vs family is a big part of the puzzle, but big government vs small government is still important as well. For people who follow politics closely, it still comes down to what one thinks about the size and scope of government, particularly with men.
I knew you were not aiming your remarks at FReeper women. WE think first. That is why ‘they’ are afraid of Bachmann and Palin, not only do they think, they are very vocal about it.
Not only do they think, they feel, but they don’t let the ‘feel’ out weigh what is better for the country.
