If this is a small church of 50-75 people, how are they affording all these protests? Travel and motel expenses, professional signs and such are not cheap. I have been in several small churches in my day, but none could afford what these nutz are doing. Did Soros give them a few 100 thousand? The old saying “follow the money” will reveal hidden players, I’m sure. Some kind of America haters are behind these nutz.

The Phelps clan are bunch of lawyers who sue anyone that tries to stop them, that is how they get their financing.

A number of them are lawyers; they get their money by suing small towns that don’t protect their “freedom of speech.”

“To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.”

Deut. 32:35

read this on wikipedia but did hear something about Soros..donating though I am not sure..Funding

This section requires expansion.

WBC’s travel expenses alone exceed $200,000 annually.[154] According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, Westboro is funded entirely by its congregation.[155] The church also makes money through lawsuits and legal fees.[155][156] For example, they sued the city of Topeka several times in the 1990s.[155] WBC received $16,500, and is pursuing another $100,000, in legal fees for a case won in court.[156] The WBC is also considered a nonprofit organization by the federal government, and is therefore exempt from paying taxes.[157]

Some of the sons and daughters (I would think it is mostly the daughters) are lawyers. They are able to sue cities and organizations for their 1st admendment rights violations. Then they use the money they win from the lawsuits to go to different events, funerals, meetings, etc., to protest some more so they can sue again. It is a vicious group of people and a vicious circle they use.
Some of the Westboro bunch have had their car tires slashed and no one will admit to doing this in various cities.

Various methods of how to get rid of them have been discussed. I think the best way is spray them with skunk smell and they will scatter. I read a few months ago that Israel had developed the skunk smell. I think it is a cheap way of getting rid of the Westboro bunch.
