GOP, get off your heels and attack Obamacare
The New York Daily News ^ | May 26, 2011 | Andrea Tantaros

A much worse case of social engineering is Obamacare, which is already the law of the land and deserves all of the ire Republicans can muster. For example, Washington Democrats have cut $500 billion by stopping reimbursements to doctors and hospitals through Medicare Advantage. And what happens when you cut payments? Doctors stop treating Medicare patients.

Another part of their "reform" plan includes the Independent Payment Advisory Board, a 15-person rationing panel of unelected bureaucrats tasked with limiting costs per patient. That, again, will happen by cutting services and limiting treatments. Even many Democrats are opposed to this, as it will likely lead to rationing. So why aren't Republicans screaming about it from the rooftops?

DNC plant's Prayer Used 5 Times a day:
"I am silent about Obama ignoring the Constitution because Obama is my King.
I am silent about Obama's fraud, taxpayer supported Sharia, and deficit because Obama is my King.
I am silent about the absence of Obama's real birth certificate and the natural born citizen issue .... because Obama is my King.
I am silent about Obama helping al Qaeda from Egypt to Libya because Obama is my King.
And I support Obamacare because it DOES NOT APPLY TO ME
and Obama is my King, suckers."

I actually thought this would be repealed by now or at least defunded.

I guess the GOP doesn’t get that, that is THE reason they were given back the House in November.

Unbelievable.

In the wake of Corwin's loss, it's imperative that Republicans speak truth to power and put the Democrats back on the defensive. Instead of retreating, they need to reframe this debate by retuning to the real issue at hand: The repeal of Obamacare. If Republicans don't, they will lose the message war, lose the election and our health care system will find itself falling off that cliff.

The Republican silence is deafning.

I listen to Mark Davis while waiting for Rush to start in the Dallas/FT. Worth market. No comment on Mark, however, a caller this morning called in with a brilliant idea. We need to pressure the Repubs to push a bill that strips away all the Obamacare waivers. They made that bed, lets make them sleep in it!

Will likely “lead to rationing?” It IS rationing. The spin never stops.

yes attack Obamacare being clear and accurate.

then support the Ryan plan being clear and accurate.

that means you R congress people need to burn the midnight oil studying both documents. Don't depend on your aides, do it yourselves.

Start reducing the size of government, the republicans have controlled congress for five months and all that has happened is there are more federal workers today than in January.

Ryan wants to reform Medicare in order to save it for future generations.

Those already currently receiving these benefits or nearing the age to receive these benefits will not be affected.

Social Security also needs to be reformed in order to save it from bankruptcy and insolvency. You start by raising the retirement age for future recipients but not those who already are in the system. However, self admitted rich people do not need to receive SS benefits. Also there is so much waste fraud and abise of these entitlements that they should be aggressively investigated.

We put this Republican controlled House in with the mandate that they get the ball rolling to fix this mess. I know they can’t do it overnight. But one quarter of the way into their terms and they have done squat. What’s the holdup? Too many parties and official events? Seems I remember when the Democrat controlled House took office in 2010 they hit the ground running. A man couldn’t keep up with the crap they were throwing out. Pelosi was in the news daily with another crappy law to be voted on. Where’s Boehner? He could start by forcing Obama to cease this illegal non-war with Libya. That is a no brainer. The President is absolutely breaking the law and flaunting it in the faces of everyone. What the hell is the matter with Boehner? Is he scared, lazy, or in the pocket of the Dems?
Get off your asses Republicans and go do what we voted you in to do.

I know all the above - the question is how many of “our” congress people know?? They need to become well versed in Ryan’s plan, and sell it their districts
