Perry has been Governor for 10 years. He was Lt. Governor before that. He is a major factor in building that “well oiled machine”. Normy, I don't dislike Gov Perry. I'm willing to give him his due, where it comes to the stewardship of our state economy (although I'm frankly not sure what part he's played in keeping it strong).
For me, I think it comes down to the trust factor. I simply don't have unreserved faith in the man, after having watched him for the last six or seven years.
I just think we can do better.
