Unfortunately, the introduction written by the editor of the book bothers me greatly. It describes Churchill as a raging liberal. It makes him sound like he’d be a major player in the progressive war on reality we find ourselves in today. At least, that’s how the intro read to me.

That is because Churchill crossed the floor from Labour to Conservative. In his early years he was associated with the left, but eventually became one of the great Conservatives and great Britons of all time.

He was a one of a kind and a genius at diplomacy.

Britian was very fortunate to have him at that time in their history.
