Hugh. The unions put millions into this campaign, only to lose. There is hope, my friends.

Good news, but I’ll be VERY surprised if there isn’t a challenge/appeal by the commies.

If Walker is smart he will use the certification now and install Prosser immediately. Doubt he will do that since Republicans like punishment and he will delay giving the RATS time to organize riots.

In other news, the GOP decided they wouldn't challenge 1984 Presidential Election results in Minnesota which showed native son Walter Mondale winning the state's electoral votes over Ronald Reagan by a margin of 3,761 votes cast out of 2,068,967, for a winning margin of 0.18%.

A historic 50 state sweep would have been nice, but Fritz would finally complete his 50 state loss some 14 years later as a last minute stand-in for Paul Wellstone.

semi-RINO Orin Hatch says it all about Dhimmis and how they view elections....

They want to intimidate all of the corporations in this country and other businesses from giving money that might help Republicans. And they know it's unconstitutional what they're doing, they know it's wrong, but they're going to go do it anyway, because it's political time to them. And frankly, it's been political time from Day One with this president. They play politics very, very tough, they play it well, and they don't give a damn about what's right and what's wrong.

Holy moly.

I remember staying up to follow the live thread on election night.

I can't believe this moonbat is still pressing her luck.

She wasn’t too concerned with disenfranchising the nuns that voted absentee, but had to be thrown out because the election official didn’t notice that the votes were not signed by a witness.

Klop should burn in Hades for that.

Prosser Campaign: Statement of Supreme Court Justice David Prosser Jr.
5/23/2011

TO: Wisconsin Media, Interested Parties

FROM: Brian Schimming, Director Justice Prosser’s Recount Team

RE: Action by the Government Accountability Board (GAB) this morning

The Government Accountability Board (GAB) this morning certified the official ward-by-ward results determining Supreme Court Justice David Prosser as the winner of the Tuesday, April 5th Supreme Court election. On behalf of Supreme Court Justice Prosser, I am releasing the following statement. If you have any questions feel free to contact me at (608) 220-7132.

STATEMENT OF SUPREME COURT JUSTICE DAVID PROSSER, JR:

“I am grateful that the final results of the April 5th election have been confirmed today. I want to thank the good people of Wisconsin for their confidence in me. I look forward to taking the oath of office and continuing to serve in a fair and independent manner as a member of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

I also want to thank the literally hundreds of local election officials and volunteers across the state’s 72 counties who spent thousands of hours of their time in this recount. Their dedication went well beyond their normal “call of duty” and I know the state’s residents who they serve share my appreciation for their great efforts in producing an accurate final result.”

I wonder if Prosser is going to have to win six times like Bush did in Florida in 2000.

(GOOD news, btw!)

Kloppenburg Campaign: Statement on Supreme Court recount
5/20/2011

Contact: Melissa Mulliken
The Kloppenburg for Justice Committee
608-206-1818

Melissa Mulliken, Campaign Manager for JoAnne Kloppenburg, today issued a statement on the conclusion of the recount process in Waukesha County:

Clerks around Wisconsin have done hard and good work on this recount and all Wisconsin residents owe them thanks. We also thank the hundreds of volunteers across the state who have served as observers.

The recount has uncovered numerous anomalies and irregularities. Vote tallies have changed in every county.

Now, as the process calls for, we will review the record and we will determine, based on the facts, the evidence and the law, whether to request judicial review.

The government of Wisconsin should make sure that Unions/Democrats have to pay for any challenges.

They have a right of appeal, but this poses an excessive tax burden on the people of Wisconsin, it should be charged against the Unions/Democrats if there is no just basis for this challenge, and the Unions/Democrats should bear the brunt of the monetary costs of such a challenge...

Is there any question about what the headline on 5/31 will be? Kloppenberg ain’t about to let this go.

And, as I understand it as an outsider to WI, Prosser’s current SC term ends 7/31, or thereabouts, so he would be out of office until the court case concludes?
