Clear eyed observers recognize Barack Obama will not have an easy road to reelection. A steady stream of poor, and outright suspicious, decisions has become the hallmark of his administration. He stands exposed him as a man overmatched by the demands of his office.
Obamas well documented failings will provide ample material for whomever the GOP nominates. Nevertheless, the worst enemy of Obamas reelection chances may be inexorably building without much notice.
The worst calamity a candidate can face is being laughed at, but the second worst is being ignored. Evidence that the voting public may be ignoring Obama is building and this portents great danger for his reelection.
Continually dropping viewership
There was a time not long ago when people stopped whatever they were doing to hear an American presidents speech.
This was the case at the beginning of Obamas administration. In December 2009 almost 41 million people stopped whatever they had going to watch Obamas speech about Afghanistan.
Last June, when he spoke to us about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico those who viewed his speech numbered 32.1 million. His August 2010 talk on Iraq had 29.2 million viewers which was bad enough, but substantially better than the alarmingly low 25.5 million who tuned in for his speech on Libya.
Rasmussens daily presidential tracking poll
On his first day in office, Obama enjoyed a huge PLUS SIDE advantage of about 30 points. He stayed in plus territory until the middle of August 2009 when the spread fell into the negative where it has stayed ever since. While this negative spread has held at about 12 points on average .
nearly 60% of likely voters have made up their minds about Obama and 61% of them dont care what he says

Do hook or crook sound familiar to ya...
It’s called habituation.
The only thing you can believe about what zero says is that it will change. The only thing consistent is his inconsistency.
The mute button is getting worn out in our home and homes all across this great nation. When he comes on the local news (nearly every night) we either turn it off or mute him.
Over exposure is fatal. Pray it is working as the dimwit cannot stop talking.
A billion dollars will buy a lot of paint, plaster and varnish.

‘zackly.
I hope he continues to run his mouth till his last moment in the WH.
Unfortunately, the default voting position for most of those dingbats is Democrat.
The less you know, the more likely you are to vote Democrat.
I hope that his mental breakdown is live on TV.
(really, your 96,000th post? Hope can you tell?? I can only find my numbers by looking at my account.)
There was a time not long ago when people stopped whatever they were doing to hear an American president?s speech.
Even in a corporate setting, if you continually call meetings, if you have meetings and afterward go back to your desk and send out an email changing everything you just said, if you call a meeting to discuss your ‘final four’ picks, well, guess what, eventually people stop showing up.
Of course Bozo could not know this, since he has never held a real job.
That’s how. I’ve been watching it diligently as I got closer and closer to the milestone.
Obama needs a mini me to boost his ratings...
Over-exposure is relative. If he had anything useful or interesting to say, it would matter little how often he was on. But the non-stop blather and rambling unresponsive responses, plus all of the "me me me, I I I", makes even monthly appearances wear out their welcome quickly.
We can’t let that happen. Surely it is planned. If they thought they were going to be held accountable they would not be doing the outrageous things that they are doing. Photo id’s would go a long way, but constant vigilence is essential.
FR used to have a way where you could see how many comments others had made. Too bad that’s gone, it can be a useful way to find certain kinds of trolls.
“We cant let that happen.”
******
We?
Our record for preventing, changing, etc. is not so hot!
We have met the enemy and he be...you know...
I tip my hat to you and your 96,000th post!
