The preamble to that document states that, among other things, signatories “do hereby re-establish our spiritual interdependence to the sacredness of our Mother Earth…” These organizations are not so much pro-environment as they are anti-human. Much like their counterparts in the animal rights movement.
Mother Earth. This is not a movement. It is a religion.

Another $3.8 Billion plus reasons why sensible taxpayers absolutely loath bureaucrats and have nothing but utter disgust for the federal government in general.
Most, if not all, state governments aren’t any better.
They just don’t don’t have the size and reach to conduct their extortion at the same level as the Feds.
