Doesn’t sound very ‘satirical’ to me!

“Are its author and publisher chastened? Well. No. They double down, and accuse the president of the United States of perpetrating a fraud on the world by having released a forged birth certificate. … This is despicable, and deserves only ridicule. That’s why we committed satire,” the note said.”

This was a straight forward attack.

Gonna be hard to prove in a court that the intent was just a ‘joke’.

Apparently from the Esquire response: "They double down, and accuse the president of the United States of perpetrating a fraud on the world by having released a forged birth certificate. "

I hope WND and Corsi file a lawsuit. It would appear that Esquire has justified its false publication by the fact that WND and Corsi are falsely claiming that the birth certificate is a forgery. That would make the issue of whether the birth certificate is valid a relevant part of any suit. Hawaiian officials, Obama administration officials, and document experts could all be called to testify under oath.

Could be just the forum for exposing fraud. It will be necessary for WND and Corsi to claim enough damages that Esquire is reluctant to settle.
