Having experienced the Cuban Missile Crisis at the CIA, Langley, ion 1962, I have little enthusiasm for a repeat. But we may get one. A German newspaper is running a disturbing report:
BERLIN The Iranian government is moving forward with the construction of rocket launch bases in Venezuela, the German daily Die Welt wrote in its Friday edition.
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is Teherans most important South American ally.
Iran is building intermediate- range missile launch pads on the Paraguaná Peninsula, and engineers from a construction firm Khatam al-Anbia owned by the Revolutionary Guards visited Paraguaná in February. Amir al-Hadschisadeh, the head of the Guards Air Force, participated in the visit, according to the report. Die Welt cited information from Western security insiders.

ohhhh only this time the _resident agrees with the Iranians and Hugo that we are evil and need to have nuclear missles pointed at us....fascist imperialist that we are...(is “sarc” really necessary?)
Watch Obama send Chavez taxpayer money to upgrade his missles to ICBMs.
oh crap and we’ve got you know who supposedly protecting us.
Time for some serious sabotage.
Ok, let’s get the Europeans to join a task force with us to take out chavez. Isn’t that the way it’s done now ? /sarc
Nuke ‘em both. That’ll stop it.
I was on a destroyer off the coast of Cuba in 1962, a freshly enlisted teenager with only 3 or 4 months of service.
We need to park a carrier group off the coast of Venezuela.
Direct violation of the Monroe Doctrine.
Iran makes this a much more dangerous situation.
Sabotage won’t cut it.
Hez is actually building their religious base in the whole of Venezuela, as well as in other areas of South America, like Peru. Just watched one of their quran/arab classes.
The expansion is *very* quick now. The time to act was five years ago, or even ten.
Really? Commandos?
"Permit me to hint, whether it would be wise and seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government; and to declare expressly that the Commander in Chief of the American Army shall not be given to nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen.
The Convention agreed and without debate the provision suggested by Jay was written into the Constitution.
That Jays advice was taken is not surprising because in his career Jay was President of the Continental Congress, Chief Justice of the New York Supreme Court, 1st Chief Justice of the United States, Ambassador to Spain and France, Secretary of Foreign Affairs (Secretary of State) and Governor of New York, among other things. He wasnt a man whose advice could be ignored. Note that what particularly concerned Jay was not a political issue but a military issue arising because the President is Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States. He was bothered by issues of National Security."
Our “gutsy” president Zer0 will take care of it...heh heh
obama will not act on this. He does what Jarrett tells him to do and guess where she was born? Iran.
My guess is that Obama doesn’t know much about the Monroe Doctrine. His knowledge of history is overwhelmingly insufficient.
You are quite correct about the involvement of Iran. It is extremely dangerous.
Nothing here yet. It would be helpful if we knew which missile system is being installed.

One of these days I hope people figure out a weakling as president is what causes these kind of problems.
Probably won't be before millions end up dead though.
“One of these days I hope people figure out a weakling as president is what causes these kind of problems.”
That day won’t arrive without some comprehensive reform of the educational system. ;-(
To Barack 0bama, history began in 1960. Everything that happened before then is irrelevant.
I’m beginning to believe that the majority of Americans are pretty much IDIOTS. The left has taken us down a path to ruin and most people in this country are only worried about who is going to win on American Idol or Dancing with the Stars. It makes me sick to my stomach to think about.
