Thank goodness Trump blundered into the Birther minefield before they went apefeces crazy on our candidates and held them up to the litmus test of birtherism.
This could have played out much much worse. For us I mean.
It really couldn't be worse for birthers. Eat crow and like it.
So Trump was your idea of a litmus test for conservatives? Wow! You must be one of those crazy nutjobs I’ve been hearing about that actually believed Trump was a viable GOP candidate.
Get real! No one I know of thought he was serious or legit. But it is an undeniable fact that he did damage to Obama. Even the White House said so.
And if a nut-job like Trump could do that, then why not a real candidate?
Look. YOU will be the one to eat crow when Palin (or whoever the frontrunner is this fall) goes on the attack against Obama over the BC issue.
But if you think we conservatives can run another campaign like McCain did where he actually said we have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency, then (self edit here).
We can not win on “the issues” alone. But Trump (idiot that he is) proved that the BC issue can do serious harm to Obama. You better hope that Palin (or someone even better) picks up on this. And you better hope YOU like crow.
