Never grew up on a farm did you, if you plow a field then you need to disc and drag and disc again when using animals, and then plant, with a tractor, depending on the crop you do it all in one, two or three times over the field.
Today it’s spay, and plant No till. sounds easy until you go to purchase the equipment, and/or repair parts. 32 row planters cost close to a quarter million dollars. Then you have to have something large enough to pull it.
My description was of doing it the old way, I did that as a little boy, then as a teenager, rubbed blisters on my rear with a farmal H and c and a ford powermaster.
