Excellent catch Tom and I say the one way to stop the racism charges is to boldly stand up to it every time they use it. Like good terrorist rats whenever confronted they will move on rather than fight.

ANY criticism of Obama makes one a racist, per the liberals/Team Obama/MSM.

Agreed. Good roundup of some of the "racist" charges by liberals.

I wish Newt had turned the tables and asked Gregory why HE (Gregory) thought that was a racist thing to say. Why would calling someone the "food stamp" president be racist? Is it because Gregory thinks most people on food stamps are black?

Newt is very well versed on the issues and deflected the racist charge as bizarre. The more people explaining conservatism the better and in the end Palin will have the charisma to go with it. She will win in a landslide.

Pray for America

.......He will go whatever way the wind is blowing and is too willing to compromise.....

I think that's pretty close kabar. He's all for consensus, agreement between the parties even though one stands for Socialism and the other stands for capitalism. He just has not learned over the years who he is really dealing with.

True, but Newt remains an 80 percenter.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Would you share your list of 100 per centers?

One thing I am giving up on is demanding perfection. I am going to try to think strategically about who I support to go up against the worst President in U S history.

Agree. What did you think after Newt's interview today?

Well, after reading the thread and listening to Rush, I wish I’d watched it.

But to treat it as a cardinal sin not to have participated is ridiculous.

I even put Cain as my possible veep.

It's not a bad thing. I realize there are no 100 per centers. Except that newt's remaining 20 per cent is usually amounts to getting along with the left at any cost.I guess I really wasn't too clear.

Folks can say what they want on both the Left and Right—Herman Cain is one compelling speaker.

Made a pretty good pizza too.

Exactly right rod, his compromises were very disappointing rather than stand up to the commie libs. He is trying to be another great moderate like an intellectual McDole. Very articulate and bright but the backbone of Boehner.

Pray for America

Consensus means caving in to the Dems just giving them part of the loaf, not all of it. The Dems never take no for an answer. They finally got Obamacare thru after trying for decades to get it done. They never accepted DADT, but rather, used it as a foot in the door to get it repealed. DOMA will be next to fall. The Dems have shackled energy production and grown government year by year.

The Reps have just retreated giving ground and describing it as some sort of triumph that the Dems did not get everything they wanted. This is the Rep's definition of consensus and compromise.

He can do wonders for his show now since all the candidates will want Huck’s endorsement. Actually a pretty smart move on his part since he wasn’t going to beat Palin but could have her on the show and make a fortune.

Pray for America

Gov Haley and the SC GOP is getting a little bit too full of themselves.
Granted our first in the South (screw Florida,it ain't really “Southern”) primary is important but that does not give us the right to order the possible candidates around,at least not at this early date.
Our darling little Nikki goofed on this one but we still love her.

For sure bray.

On the other hand I am inspired by newer leaders such as Nikki Haley, Sarah, Marco Rubio,Paul Ryan and many others who promise we at least have a chance for tomorrow.

Very true, we have a lot to learn.

The lengths zero/this regime have gone through to put forth their agenda of socialism/statism all the time using tsars, Presidential powers anything in the book and ignoring laws they don't like is staggering.

Hopefully, a lesson to our side.

Obviously opinions about Gov. Haley’s appearance on ABC vary.

No disrespect intended, but why don’t you post this weekly long tome in its own post where it belongs?
