Not exactly the Top Gun image. That was the point the liberal female author and her Leftist editor are making in this little story. Pulling off nasty little social sabotages like this is why they went to J-school, donchaknow. Us peons ain't supposed to recognized when our betters are doing it to our feeble little brains - and we're certainly never supposed to object.
Meanwhile, all the soccer moms are taking notes and running off to repeat it in excited packs.
