Cain is flying under the radar (at least as far as the MSM goes) until this last debate.
I think the sensitivity to the “Who is Herman Cain?” comment comes from the fact that the phrase is being used by his opponents to belittle Cain.
Personally, I think Cain should take a “Yankee Doodle” approach with the phrase (the British sung Yankee Doodle to belittle Americans, so Americans adopted it as a theme song). Cain should run with “Who is Herman Cain?” as a theme to show he’s an Washington outsider and to get info out about himself (the same tactic used by Carter in the ‘76 campaign).

Thanks — that clears some things up. My dentist seems to always hit a nerve when he does that 3, 4, 3, 2 thing with a pick. That happens sometimes in threads.
